2008 - Training course "Fundamentals of local economic development"
The Training Center of the Foundation for Local Government Reform in partnership with the Centre for European Programmes of the American University in Bulgaria organized training course "Fundamentals of local economic development".
The training course "Fundamentals of local economic development" was open for civil servants from municipalities and regional administration, NGOs or consultancy organizations, for whom work in the field of local economic development is challenging and of professional interest as an opportunity for the career of a specialist in the field of business development of municipalities and regions.
The course has been developed and tailored to the practical needs of the participants, combining an academic qualification with professional skills, techniques and know-how for motivation and active participation in the process of local economic development. Participants in the course gain valuable experience and practical knowledge about successful practices from USA, Europe and Bulgaria for further career growth in the field of local economic development.
The course will take place in Sofia in two three days modules in May and June 2008.
