On the 13 July 2009 started the first FLGR Distance Learning Course dedicated to the 12 good governance principles, formulated in the Valencia Declaration 2007.

The course is supported by the LOGIN framework and will end on 6 September 2009.

105 students from 46 cities and 5 villages from all over the country participate the course, which is free of charge being a test one.

74 of the participants are representatives of the civic sector, incl. schools, educational organizations, agencies for economic development, business centers, regional associations of municipalities, local initiative groups, representations of international organizations in Bulgaria.

26 are representatives of municipal administrations and municipal councils.

5 are representatives of the branches of state administrations in the country.
