2008/03/04: Innovative Practices Team First Meeting

The first meeting of the members of the Innovative Practices Team took place on February 28, 2008 in FLGR office. The establishment of the team is within the "NGOs - Reliable Partners for Development" FLGR project which is funded under the Administrative Capacity Operational Program.
The purpose of the team is to develop feasible models for partnership between NGOs and public administration in formulation and implementation of local policies. The team is consisted of 10 members who are well-known leaders in the field of citizen participation.
During the first meeting the team members developed a template model for partnership between NGOs and public administration which will be further elaborated and applied by local authorities and NGOs. The team also outlined 14 provisional themes for NGO/Local government cooperation.
The team will gather once in every two months to elaborate partnership models for each of the 14 provisional themes.
