2009/02: Next Steps
In February 2009 the team of FLGR officially handed out analysis of the municipal administration internal procedures and analysis of the existing municipal IT infrastructure to the leadership of District Oborishte, Sofia Municipality, and Municipality of Pazardzhik from the viewpoint of the good governance application in the chosen priority area - cooperation between local government and the citizens.
The analyses for the District of Slatina will be ready in the beginning of March 2009.
In the beginning of March will be carried out trainings for municipal officers in the field of integrity.
Also in the beginning of March will be announced call for proposals for NGOs from the pilot municipalities. The total sum available for funding is 16,000 USD, and one project can apply for a maximum grant of 4,000 USD. Maximum 90% of the projects costs will be covered by the grants.
