On the 12 March – in Pazardzhik and on the 13 march 2009 – in Sofia, District Slatina, FLGR carried out trainings for municipal officers in the field of integrity. The main topics discussed were elements and tools for local integrity system in Bulgaria. In group discussions the instruments for achieving integrity of the local administration and a dilemma training took place.

The training is part of the project “The Good Governance Principles: Bridging Citizens and Governments”, financially supported by GMF/ The Balkan Trust for Democracy/ Bulgaria Fund.

Due to dramatic differences in expectations for outcomes and goals of the project of the Oborishte District, Sofia Municipality, on one hand, and FLGR, on the other hand, FLGR informed the district mayor Mrs. Armenkova that the cooperation between FLGR and the District of Oborishte were suspended.
