FLGR held two informational meetings for Bulgarian municipalities on the topic of good governance principles application at local level.

On the 29 October 2009 in the town of Veliko Tarnovo with Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo as co-organizer the informational meeting for municipalities from North Bulgaria was carried out.

On the 30 October in the town of Plovdiv with Muncipality of Maritsa as co-organizer the informational meeting for municipalities from South Bulgaria took place.

Useful information on the 12 good governance principles, formulated in the Strategy for innovation and good governance at local level (Barcelona 2007) was shared and the Methodology for self assessment of municipalities as a participatory and standardized tool was presented.
