Restoring the house yard would not only make it a pleasant place for the visitors of the museum, but also would bring Municipality of Svishtov a step closer towards proving the city as a cultural center.

The project aims to build a sports ground in the village of Vardim, designed for school and out-of-school sport practices. Through this project realization, the young people would have the opportunity to gain and develop skills in various sports soccer, handball, basketball, and volleyball. The new sports ground assured the successful implementation of the sport classes and the out-of-school sport activities in the village.

The project's main goal was to restore and improve the outlook and the functioning of the natural water fountains at the territory of the city of Svishtov and the surrounding villages in the municipality. In the past the local population built all the water fountains with a lot of love. Restoring them would bring back the tradition of informal social gatherings around them. The water fountains would once again become useful for the stock-breeders. Municipality crews in cooperation with Water and Sewerage specialists developed the project.

The implementation of the project Integration of Roma Population, developed by the National Council on Ethnic and Demographical Issues jointly with the Ministry of Education and Science and executed jointly by the CARE Consortium Germany and CARE International Bulgaria, Veliko Turnovo University Sv. Sv. Kiril and Methodiy , the Diversity Balkans Foundation on Intercultural Understanding in the city of Dobrich is an opportunity to practically implement the policy of the municipality on diminution of specific educational problems of Roma children .
The work of the teacher s assistants would help the process of adjusting Roma children in the school environment , as well as in establishing a solid linkage between local authorities , schools , NGOs , parents .

The young people in the municipality of Bratsigovo (the poor and those in the two orphanages) were provided access to alternative training consistent with the modern requirements of the labor market. The IT and English classes became a prerequisite for better career opportunities for the youth in a small city who got the chance of an equal start at the labor market and felt more competitive when searching for a job.

On 15 May 2003 a National Science and Application conference "Modern Education by applicaton of ICT" was held, organised by the Municipality of Dobrich in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science and Science and Technology Unions. It contributed to the modernising of the overall educational process in Dobrich and implemented an innovative initiative involving a panel of students on ICT in the conference work. Certificates for completed ICT courses were granted to teachers. The conference is an important milestone in the achievement of the objectives of the 4-year Program of Dobrich Municipality for ensuring all encompassing access to computers and the Internet for education and work.
