The idea for improvement of the conditions for healthy way of life was improved at the sixth session of "Community forum" Program in Belogradchik municipality. There is no sports base in town , and tourists and guests except for picnics in nature and sightseeing need other entertainments. Ensuring sports place for tourists will prolong their visit in town.
Main goal: Creating better conditions for physical realization of Belogradchik guests and youths.
Main activities: Repair of the existing and ditching new drainage; constructing pumping - shaft to both tennis courts; constructing basketball and volleyball grounds as well as beach - volleyball ground; setting lightning and benches; elaborating and setting indicative signs; preparation and issue advertising brochure; conducting sports tournament between students and adults at the complex opening .
There is opportunity for a better physical expression of all willing students and youths in their free time. In 2006 for a first time “Town” Volleyball club will take part in the Republican boy’s championship. The established sports ground for beach volleyball is approved by the Volleyball federation to conduct tournaments on this sport. In this way along with the tradition in volleyball in Belogradchik originates newer and modern sport, which is already in the family of the Olympic sports – beach volleyball.
