Growing requirements of citizens and firms towards their collaboration with the municipal administration, as well as the expand of local authorities responsibilities during the past few years stimulated the Municipality of Svishtov to open a Front Office of the Center for citizens administrative service and information that would significantly expand the number of the provided municipal services.

The Front Office is situated in premises immediately next to the front gate of the Municipal Administration building. The premise was fully repaired and renovated. The Front office is a place of work for representatives of the various municipal departments, who provide the citizens with individual consultations. The newly found office is a continuation of the Center for citizens administrative service and information that functions for several years now.

Introducing the Front Office is absolutely applicable to every Bulgarian municipality. Through the new practice the Municipality of Svishtov achieved better interaction with citizens and private firms, and in the same time reduced the time, needed for servicing an individual citizen or an organization.
