Foundation for Local Government Reform announced call for NGOs from South Central planning region to participate a series of trainings dedicated to local development. The trainings will be held in the framework of the "NGOs - Reliable Partners For Development" Project under Operational Program "Administrative Capacity".

The trainings will begin in September and will end in November 2008.

The 5 modules of the trainings are entitled:

1. Forms of citizen participation;
2. Local development planning;
3. Representation and advocacy;
4. Public needs assessment;
5. Project proposal development with involvement of the stakeholders and interested parties.

Participants that pass successfully all the 5 modules will be certified as Community Development Expert.

65 organizations applied for participation in the training. From them will be chosen 45 and young organizations working in the fields of local development, good governance, civil rights and social activities will be given priority.
