On the 20 March 2009 Closing Conference under the project "Bulgarian Local Government Integrity".

The topics discussed were:

• Achieving integrity in Bulgaria at national and local level;
• Conflict of interest act;
• Work of the municipal administrations and the integrity;
• Good practices of Bulgarian and European local governments.

Results of the sociological survey of integrity on 12 Bulgarian municipalities wwre presented.

The project was financed by MATRA Program of the Dutch Government and is carried out in 9 Bulgarian municipalities - Kozlodui, Kardzhali, Mezdra, Montana, Pazardzhik, Pamagiurishte, Sofia, Stara Zagora and Veliko Tarnovo - by a Consortium of 4 NGOs: NGO Links, Bulgaria, Center for Liberal Strategies, Bulgaria, Foundation for Local Government Reform, Bulgaria, and transForma, Romania.
