A new specialized site, dedicated to the work of the community councils, has started its life on the net. The site was developed by the FLGR team. The URL is ccouncils.flgr.bg

The goal of the site is to give information on the work of community councils as thematic consultative bodies at local level.

The information, published on the website, concerns the goal, the functions, forms and spheres of functioning of community councils in Bulgaria. Documents, referring to the legal framework of the community councils, other useful documents, good practices and news from the community councils can be found online also.

The site was commissioned by the Ministry of regional development and public works in the framework of the Programme for decentralization for 2008.
