Consortium of leading companies, public bodies and institutions was launched officially on the October 1, 2007 the programme European Union Grant Advisor (EUGA) for Bulgaria.

The EUGA activities focus mainly on investments in innovations, ICT, development and adoption of new technologies, starting up new businesses and stimulating the employment.

The European Union Grants Advisor programme is a collaborative effort led by Microsoft to help SMEs, as well as local and regional governments, to better understand and use EU funding opportunities at the international, national, and regional level. Through the EU Grants Advisor Web site for SMEs, business owners will be able to find information about EU funding and can start to better ascertain which funds they may be eligible for.

The Microsoft’s initiative in Bulgaria is carried out in partnership with DSK Bank, Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA), Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC), Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), State Agency for Information Technology and Communications (SAITC), Confederation Of Employers And Industrialists In Bulgaria (CEIBG), Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform (MSAAR), Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria), UniCredit Bulbank and Foundation for Local Government Reform.
