FLGR invited representatives of municipal administrations to send good practices till 15 May 2009 to become part of the online database of innovative practices in Bulgarian municipalities and to participate the National Competition "Innovative Municipality". The deadline for participation is May 15, 2009.

The online database of FLGR consists of more than 1000 good practices.

From 2002 FLGR conducts Innovative Practices competitions on different topics and awards its Annual Innovative Municipality Award to municipalities that shared the most innovative practices within the current year.
