The Foundation for Local Government Reform presents the best practices developed under Improving the Social Environment II Program.

The Program, financially supported by Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, has been implemented in the municipalities of Kresna and Strumyani, Godech and Svoge, Batak, Bratsigovo and Peshtera, Dzhebel, Kirkovo and Momchilgrad, since September 2002.

The Program provided support to NGO initiatives, in partnership with local authorities and other key stakeholders, aimed at improving the quality life and the integration of disadvantaged social groups.
